St. Patrick’s day has so many different memories for me. One spent on the green river banks of Savannah, Georgia, one at the parade in Boston, Massachusetts. Most St. Patrick’s days come and go without much fanfare besides an excuse to drink a green beer.
Now that I am past my college years I like to cook Irish food around this green holiday. I find a special connection now that I am married into an Irish family and have an Irish last name. One day I will make a trip to the green isle. Of all the places I have been in the world Ireland is a country I have yet to truly explore. For now I am happy to attempt to replicate Irish treats in my kitchen.
